Prior to surgery, we encourage a visit with your husband or partner to discuss reasons for Surgery, other forms of treatment, risks involved, and benefits to be gained.
We encourage family oriented, prepared childbirth for two reasons: First, the education process removes the fear of the unknown and provides a step by step approach to understanding pregnancy, labor and delivery. Second, the husband is included in a meaningful way. We want your delivery to be safe and enjoyable.
We encourage an office visit for accurate diagnosis and specific therapy for urinary and vaginal infections. We recommend forcing fluids for urinary infection, and cleansing tub baths without soap for vaginal infection until you can be seen. Please do not douche or use a vaginal cream prior to a visit for a vaginal infection.
